Job description

Behavior Technician- Paid RBT

Join a top workplace in specialized therapy at AB Spectrum, a team named a Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. We foster a culture where people feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.

AB Spectrum provides specialized Reggio ABA™ (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy for young children (ages 1-6). Our foundation is ABA, an evidence-based therapy focused on developing communication, social, and adaptive living skills.

As a Behavior Technician, you'll play an important role in helping children develop communication, social, independence, and daily living skills while building meaningful relationships along the way.

Working under the supervision of a BCBA, you'll provide individualized, 1:1 ABA therapy and help children work toward meaningful developmental goals.

Your day may include:

Teaching communication and language skills

Building social and play skills

Supporting independence and daily living skills

Working on feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene

Helping children navigate challenging moments

Collecting data and tracking progress

Following individualized treatment plans

Creating learning opportunities through play

Celebrating small—and big—milestones

This is an active, hands-on position. You'll spend your day playing, moving, teaching, learning, and engaging with children rather than sitting behind a desk.

Our ReggioABA™ approach encourages you to get involved, follow the child's interests, and turn everyday moments into opportunities for learning.

AB Spectrum is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse team that reflects the communities we serve.
