Job description
Behavioral Health Clinical AssistantAs a Behavioral Health Clinical Assistant, you will be a supportive and integral member of the Behavioral Health (BH) department by assisting the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) and completing tasks for the behavioral health clinicians. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others, flexible, and a positive team player. This position requires an individual who can multitask, has strong written and verbal communication, excellent organizational skills, and experience in medical assisting and clerical work. Must be able to communicate with people of various diverse backgrounds, ensuring all patients are treated in a sensitive and compassionate way. The position is based at our McDowell Health Center, 136 Creekview Court, Marion, NC 28752.Experience:At least one year of experience as Medical Assistant in an outpatient health care settingExperience in a behavioral health and/or integrated care settingExperience documenting patient care in an electronic health record.
