n n n Behavioral Health Charlotten n n , in collaboration with One Health,n n n n n n n aren n n n n looking for an experiencedn n n n n full-timen n n n n advancedn n n n n practice prn n n ofessionaln n n n n (An n n Pn n n P) specialized in psychiatry to provide quality mental health services to the patients inn n n n n the Charlotten n n n n and surrounding community.n n n n n This position is occupied by boan n n rd certified psychiatric nurse pn n n ractitioners (PMHNP-BC) and/or physician assistants (PA) who are specifically trained and proficient in the provision of psychiatric services under the direct supervision of psychiatrists working for the Atrium Health Psychiatry Service Line.n n n n n Then n n n n provider in this position will perform psychiatric evn n n aluations and medication management forn n n n n n n adult patients throughout the lifespann n n .n n n n n n n The An n n Pn n n Pn n n n n is responsible forn n n n n evaluating, stabilizing, and treating patients with acute and chronic mental health diagnoses.n n n n n This may include, but is not limited to, patients with diagnoses of depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, and schizophrenia.n n n n n n n

n n Position Qualifications:n n
n n n Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina. Current prescriptive privileges and DEA licensen n n n n requiredn n n . BLS for healthcaren n n n n providern n n n n from AHAn n n n n requiredn n n .n n n n n
n n n Nurse practitionersn n n n n are required ton n n n n have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice. Certification asn n n n n psychiatricn n n n n NP from a nationally recognizedn n n n n certifyingn n n n n bodyn n n n n requiredn n n .n n n n n
n n n Physician Assistants with certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred. Current or pending CAQ certification preferred.n n n n n
n n n +1 years of experience preferredn n n n n
n n n Demonstratesn n n n n appropriate criticaln n n n n thinn n n king and interpersonal skills.n n n n n
