Join Munson Healthcare’s Behavioral Health Team!
Day Shift | Part-time
Summary: Munson Healthcare’s Behavioral Health team is offering a part-time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP; Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to provide assessment, treatment planning, psychiatric, substance use disorder services, and care coordination for patients seen in outpatient settings, which may include outpatient and partial hospital levels of care.
Position Duties/Highlights Include:
Works in collaboration with a Psychiatrist, Substance Use Disorder Medical Director, and Psychiatry Department Chief.
Part-time position providing outpatient behavioral health treatment to adults including mental health, substance use disorders, and co-occurring services via in-person and tele-health services.
This position is employed by Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Standard Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Master’s Degree in Nursing OR Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies
Work Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Behavioral Health preferred
Certification, Licensure, Registration:
Board eligible/certified to practice in the State of Michigan
Psychiatric Mental Health Certification (PMHNP)
