Job description
Peer Support Advocate
Implements the treatment plan in collaboration with the treatment team. Provides a variety of peer support, advocacy, and other recovery services to clients and caregivers.
Job Responsibility
Collaborates with the treatment team to facilitate implementation of the treatment plan.
Offers peer support services to participants prior to discharge and after their return to their communities.
Provides a variety of peer support, advocacy, and other recovery services to clients and caregivers.
Develops a relationship of trust with each participant, functioning as a role model, peer support, mentor, advocate, and ally.
Communicates hope and encouragement to assist participants in developing readiness to discharge from the hospital and return to their community.
Provides case management service to identified clients while maintaining the wellbeing of clients and integrity of the program.
Offers assistance with independent living skills, coping skills and community adjustment, helping the individual make a positive connection to outpatient behavioral health services and other community resources.

Job Qualification
•High School Diploma or equivalent required. •Current Recovery Peer Advocate or Recovery Peer Advocate – Provisional certification required. •1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
The salary range for this position is $ -$ /year. Salary reflects full-time employment and would be adjusted for part-time or per diem employment based on hours worked.
