FBC is a 24-hour Residential Service, open 365 days a year.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides supervision and monitoring of each consumer. Assist with and model appropriate daily living skills.Document any reported or observed symptoms of consumers and report to the team.Participate in Shift ReportProvide transportationAll other duties as assigned by supervisorStrong interpersonal skills and belief in consumer's ability to recover. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. A desire to work with individuals with severe mental illness and substance abuse issues.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required with a minimum of 1-year experience with the population served and/or crisis experience. AA degree or a BS/ BA degree preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing.
