Job description
Behavioral Health TechnicianAt Asheville Recovery Center we dedicate ourselves to providing compassionate and comprehensive treatment for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Our goal is to support our clients through their recovery journey with personalized care and a commitment to improving their quality of life. We are seeking accepting applications for Behavioral Health Technicians.Job DutiesHelp facilitate the first initial part of the intake process and procedure for clientsProvide supervision and support to clients and the Clinical/Operations Team at the facilityOffer clients guidance about recovery using the 12-step model, Refuge Recovery, or other established modelsFacilitate daily schedule of Asheville Recovery CenterConduct random urinalysis drug testing twice weekly and as outlined procedurallyMonitor client's presence through daily roundsMonitor and document results of all drug tests by observing samples being provided via same sex staff to client interactionReport any unusual client behavior or suspicious activity to the BHT Supervisor / Operations ManagerMaintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere strictly to confidentiality requirementsComply with all Asheville Recovery Center's policies and proceduresAdhere to established standards of hygiene and universal infection control procedures in handling all samples and suppliesSupport daily tasks and operations as neededMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDValid Driver's LicenseMust be at least 21 years oldBe able to pass a criminal background check and drug screenJob Type: Full-timeStarting Salary: $21.00 per hourBenefits401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availability3rd Shift availability 12:00am-8:30amAbility to commute/relocate:Asheville, NC 28804: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Asheville Recovery Center does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, ancestry, age, religion or creed, disability, sex or gender, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under federal, state, or local law.
