Participating in multidisciplinary care with case managers, nurses, and psychiatrists

Crisis intervention, care coordination, and documentation of services

Children's Team Therapist

Therapists support clients in achieving improved emotional, behavioral, and overall functioning across home, school, and community settings. Responsibilities include:

Provide individual and family psychotherapy and evidence-informed therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's needs.

Develop and implement therapeutic skill-building interventions that promote emotional regulation, coping skills, resilience, and healthy functioning.

Support clients in developing and maintaining skills necessary to successfully function in home, school, and community settings.

Collaborate effectively with clients, families, and a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and coordinate individualized services.

Participate in collaborative care planning and coordination with partners across the Children's System of Care throughout Nevada County.

Engage families and other natural supports as active participants in the treatment process.
