nMaxim Healthcare Services in San Jose - Peninsula area, CA is hiring for Behavioral Support Aide to work with children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors

n nResponsibilities:
nnnProvide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
n
nnProvides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention
n
nnAssist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed
n
nnImplement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
n
n nRequirements:
nnnHigh school diploma or GED equivalent
n
nnPrevious experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
n
nnAt least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
n
nnCollege coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
