JOB TITLE: Shop Manager - Ben & Jerry's New Haven
JOB TYPE: Full-time
PAY: $1050-$1200 weekly
LOCATION: New Haven, CT
Job Description
New Haven nights are alive -- and we need someone who thrives when the city does. This is a leadership role for someone who's equal parts operator and culture-builder. You'll run a tight shop, grow a great team, and make sure every scoop hits the same standard at midnight as it does at noon. If you're energized by late-night rushes, love developing people, and want to lead a business that actually stands for something -- this one's for you.
Hours: Open until midnight on weekdays, until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays.
What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team that actually wants to show up
Deliver standout guest experiences every hour, every night of the week
Manage sales, labor, and daily operations with accountability and care
Hold high standards during late-night hours when it counts most
Represent the Ben & Jerry's brand and show up for the New Haven community

What You Bring
You care -- about your crew, the guest, and the product
2+ years of management experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership, communication, and people skills
Comfort owning late-night operations and holding high standards after midnight
Operational confidence and a team-focused mindset
Schedule note: This role includes regular late-night shifts. Weekday close is midnight; Friday and Saturday close is 3am. Night owls and experienced hospitality leaders encouraged to apply.
