Overview:
nAmelia Home Care is seeking compassionate, dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide exceptional in-home care to clients across various settings. This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals who need assistance with daily activities and medical needs while helping them maintain independence and quality of life. We value caregivers with strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospice. HHAs in this role will work closely with healthcare teams and must adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and safety.
nRequirements:
nnValid HHA Certificate
nMUST SPEAK BENGALI
nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions
nConsistent, reliable, and timely attendance
nStrong desire and compassion for caring for others
n nResponsibilities:
nnProvide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
nAssist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
nAdminister medications as directed by healthcare professionals
nMonitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
nAssist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques
nOffer companionship and emotional support
nPerform light housekeeping tasks (cleaning, laundry)
nPrepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
n nExperience:
nnPrevious Home Health Aide experience preferred
nAbility to work with individuals with special needs or medical conditions
nStrong communication skills with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
nAbility to maintain confidentiality regarding medical records and sensitive information
