Job description
Experienced Electrical Apprentice for Solar Battery Storage SiteKirtland, NM, per diem available if 75 miles from site.Monday-Saturday schedule 10+ hours a day, and some Sundays.This role offers the opportunity to support experienced electricians on a large battery storage site, contributing to the installation of electrical infrastructure for a major construction project. You will assist with underground rough-in work, cable pulling, conduit installation, and panel mounting in a fast-paced commercial and industrial environment. The position involves full-time hours with the potential for overtime and requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work outdoors in challenging conditions.Essential SkillsAt least 23 years of recent experience performing industrial electrical job duties.Outside construction experience, including working in dirt, trenches, and around heavy equipment and multi-disciplinary crews.Practical experience in commercial and industrial electrical construction environments.Ability to pull wire and cable over long runs and through conduit in varying site conditions.Experience installing and running conduit, including basic conduit bending.Familiarity with electrical wiring practices in construction settings.Comfort working to daily production targets in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperature conditions and uneven terrain.Strong awareness of safety practices and willingness to follow site safety rules.Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to start work at 6:30am consistently.Experience on large-scale solar or battery storage projects.Exposure to reading and working from basic blueprints and construction drawings.Experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction projects.Ability to work effectively within a team of electricians and construction workers.Good physical stamina to handle manual tasks such as lifting, pulling cable, and working in trenches.Positive attitude towards learning and developing further electrical skills under supervision.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Kirtland, NM.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
