Golf Beverage Cart AttendantPosition: Golf Beverage Cart Attendant Department: F&B/Golf ClubPrimary Responsibilities:Sell refreshments from the movable Beverage Cart on the Golf Course(s).Prepare food and beverage items for sale and consumption when assigned to Halfway House and Snack BarMeet and greet guestsRead and analyze starter sheetsKnow the courses and be able to assist anyone on the coursesKnow where to get information neededStocking and keeping track of inventoryUse Point of Sales computer systemClean and maintain facilitiesMake changeNormal Working Hours: (Shift, days) 10 hours per day in season between 7:00am-6:00pm, weekends and holidays requiredThe selected candidate must be able to uphold the Greenbrier's Vision, as well as demonstrate the 12 Greenbrier Values of Safety, Honesty, Excellence, Respect, Empowerment, Pride, Teamwork, Loyalty, Commitment, Cleanliness, Responsibility, and Fairness.Past Work Experience Requirements:Public relations experienceFood and beverage preparation and service experience preferredEducational Requirements:High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferredCommunication Skills Requirements:Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond accordinglyCommunicate effectively with guests and staffAbility to give and receive accurate information from guest, rangers, professional staff, and starters in a timely mannerTechnical Requirements:Operate P.O.S (Point of Sale)Possess basic math skill to include making change in a timely mannerKnowledge of the game and etiquette of golf preferredRequired Supervision:Must be able to work independentlyOther Requirements:Must be 18 years of ageAble to problem solve and remain calm under pressureMust be able to adapt to changeRequirements are subject to change
