Our Live-in model is a 7 day on/7 day off schedule. You will be required to live in the individuals' home-on location and will be paid 16 hours a day (minus any unpaid break time). Live-in DSPs work approximately two weeks per month and earn full-time pay plus overtime! Bi-weekly compensation will be for 105 hours (25 hours of which are paid at a rate of time and a half). You will also be paid for any interrupted sleep time, if applicable. Live-in DSPs are also provided with a weekly food budget during your week on. You will receive one 7-hour break during your scheduled shift.**All off time must be spent off location - the individual's home cannot be your primary residence**Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environmentProvide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.Prepare meals and snacks.Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices.Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed.Other duties as assignedQualificationsWhat Makes You a Great Fit:Valid driver's license (due to transporting persons served)Ability to live in the home for 7 daysAbility to leave the home for 7 daysBe 18+ Years OldHave a High School Diploma or GED1 year of caregiving experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities highly preferredGood communication is key in this role.
