Job DescriptionThe Bid Analyst is responsible for RFP setup, data management, operational reporting, document management and various initiatives. You will provide data, clerical, and administrative support in an effective and efficient manner. Individuals in this position should have effective multi-tasking abilities with a positive and helpful disposition. You will also need to maintain a good sense of priorities as you provide support. You will maintain a positive relationship with our team members, management, and operations teams. We expect you to develop industry skills and to have the ability to work independently. You will work with sensitive company information that must be kept confidential. This job is on-site in Mount Airy, NC or Charlotte, NC reporting to the Director of Contracting Management.Under minimal supervision, the Bid Analyst will:Provide data collection and RFP/RFI entry into Procore; manage internal spreadsheets/databases for reporting purposesCreate, update, maintain and communicate various reporting and tracking metricsTroubleshoot data integrity or inconsistency issuesManage document submissions and record retentionCommunicate verbal and written communication to multiple internal departmentsMinimum Requirements:Regular attendance is requiredHigh School Diploma and minimum of 1-3 years of related construction industry work experience; Four-year degree is preferredHandle highly confidential information and exercise considerable discretion and independent judgmentWorking knowledge of computers and software applications with MS office application proficiency; Experience with Procore is preferredDemonstrated skills in written communications; Ability to compose basic as well as complex documentsDemonstrated skills in oral communicationHigh energy level with the ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environmentExperience developing and maintaining internal and external relationships while navigating organizational barriersHigh commitment to achieving goals and plansExcellent organizational, planning and time management skillsHelp with multiple projects or initiatives simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepanciesCollaborate with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgroundsPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
