Job description
Big Truck Mechanic
Currently, we are seeking a Big Truck Mechanic to support our Piscataway, NJ location and surrounding areas. We offer tremendous opportunity for growth, competitive compensation and benefits for individuals who want a career with a great company that maintains a family feel!
Main Duties:
Diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain equipment mainly large capacity forklifts
Much of lift truck repair will be in port & heavy industrial locations
Provide courteous and professional service
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards
Requirements:
5+ years' experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Cummins experience
Experience as a road mechanic a plus
Welding / fabricating experience
Exceptional customer service skills
Must have own tools
Clean driving record
Stable work history
Dependable, self-motivated professional
Excellent work ethic and a POSITIVE attitude
Ability to provide references of prior employers
Compensation:
This position pays an hourly range between $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Compensation is based on experience.
