Account Servicing Specialist (Impounds)The Account Servicing Specialist (Impounds) will be responsible for servicing auto loan accounts.In-office positions are available in Santa Ana, CA and Ontario, CA. California-based remote work is available for employees who reside more than 30 miles from our office locations, subject to position eligibility and company requirements.Essential Responsibilities:Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers to successfully obtain a commitment for payment and/or reinstatement of accounts, including offering suggestions as to how they can meet their obligations, propose alternative payment methods, and establish payment procedures.Review accounts for special assistance (loan modifications, extensions, etc.) and gather the necessary information and/or documents to provide assistanceInitiate and review repossession efforts to recover collateral.Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities.Conduct investigative activities to determine the whereabouts of customers through database searches and system records (Skip-Tracing).Perform outbound calls and receive inbound calls through an auto-dialing system or manual telephone system.Maintain satisfactory work efforts on an assigned queue and meet/exceed daily and monthly goals.Other duties as assigned.Essential Requirements:3+ year(s) of experience in the collections field, preferably in the subprime consumer lending industry.Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.High School Diploma or GED.Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.Salary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour + BonusVeros Credit, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.**This Organization Participates in E-VerifyKeywords: Automotive, Auto Finance, Automobile, Subprime, Prime, Unsecure Loans, Dealerships, Independent Dealerships, Franchise Dealerships, Skip-tracing, Skip Tracer, Skip Trace, Auto Dialer, Auto Dialing, Vehicle Repossessions, Repayment Plans, Deficiency, Customer Service, Consumer Finance, Collections, Collector, Collecting, Loss Recovery, Collateral Recovery, Post Charge Off, Negotiate, Negotiation, Negotiator, Call Center, Bilingual, Spanish, FDCPA, Noble
