Bilingual Financial SpecialistFinancial Specialists manage the "front door" to all Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare Services. Financial Specialist will provide the highest quality service possible to all clients, visitors, and staff at TCBHC. Provide empathetic guidance, problem solving, support, and assistance to all TCBHC clients.This position's duties will include the following:Provide excellent customer service at all times by effectively meeting client needs, understanding who the clients are, and building quality relationshipsKeeps clients appointments on schedule by notifying provider of client's arrival, reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delaysResponsible for managing the flow of clientsProvides appropriate notification of issues that may result in service delaysVerify insurance benefits for all plans associated with client, confirming the correct payer and plan is entered into the client data systemObtain insurance authorizations as required by individual insurance plans, documenting authorization numbers in the appropriate fields for accurate billingMaintain client accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial informationProvide and obtain signatures on required forms and consentsMinimum Requirements:Requires High School Diploma or GED.1 year of experience preferred handling client check-in, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorization and collection in a healthcare setting.Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.Knowledge of various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, POS, Medicare, and Medicaid) strongly preferred.Ability to pass Computer Competency test, typing 40 wpm and Basic Microsoft Word and Excel.Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable through Tri-County.What's in it for you:Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, Company-paid Life and Disability insurance, HSA/FSARetirement Options with Company Match!Mental health and wellness support from our Employee Assistance ProgramFinancial Wellbeing Say goodbye to those pesky loans- we're a Federal Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) qualified employer!Weekly Pay deposited directly into your account (get paid every Friday!)Work-Life Balance 9 Paid Company Holidays PLUS 2 Personal Holidays (VIP Days)Paid Time Off begins accruing on your first day (increasing with tenure!)Meaningful work in the mental health and intellectual disabilities community.Effective January 1, 2017, all Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare campuses are smoke free.Compensation:Hourly rate: $17.68Annual equivalent: $36,776Location: Conroe, TXTri-County is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all Federal and State laws pertaining to employment.
