Restaurant Group - Bilingual Full-Charge BookkeeperAre you a highly skilled and motivated individual looking to join a dynamic team as a Restaurant Group Full-Charge Bookkeeper? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking on new challenges?China Live / Asia Live Restaurant Group is hiring an experienced full-charge bookkeeper to work closely with operations. This role involves various accounting functions such as accounts payable reconciliation, budgeting, financial reporting, and more. The ideal candidate should have 5 years of accounting experience in hospitality industry, a degree in Accounting or a related field, and be proficient in Excel and pivot tables.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate books using QuickBooks OnlineManage accounts payable and accounts receivableReconcile bank, credit-card, merchant-processing and delivery-platform accountsReview daily sales, deposits, discounts, refunds and voidsRecord payroll, tips and service-charge distributionsMaintain vendor files and resolve invoice discrepanciesPrepare monthly profit-and-loss statements and balance sheetsAssist with cash-flow reporting and weekly financial summariesCoordinate sales-tax, payroll-tax and year-end information with outside CPAsMaintain organized supporting documentation for audits and tax preparationSupport accounting for multiple restaurant entities and locationsAccounts payable reconciliation and administrationBank reconciliationCash management and forecastingFinancial reporting and cost analysisAssist with H.R. and employee benefits administrationPayrollPrepare weekly operations reportsAd hoc projects and other duties as assignedKey Requirements:Fluent in English and either Mandarin or CantoneseMinimum 5 year of accounting experience in restaurant/hospitality/retailRestaurant, hospitality or high-volume retail experience strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft ExcelStrong knowledge of reconciliations, accounts payable, general ledger and month-end closingExperience with restaurant POS and payroll systems preferredExtremely accurate, organized and able to meet deadlinesBA or AA in Accounting or related degree preferredAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Excel and pivot tablesPassion for accounting and hospitalityFlexible work schedule and ability to travelMust be able to drive and travel to Santa Clara locationAble to work primarily on-site in San Francisco ChinatownAuthorized to work in the United StatesChina Live / Asia Live Restaurant Group offers a competitive wage and benefits package, along with the opportunity to grow and make an impact in the food & beverage industry.
