Location: Opa-locka, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Rotating Shifts
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and lead manufacturing employees in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and employee performance.
Candidates must be comfortable working a rotating shift schedule , alternating between first and second shift based on operational needs .
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing and production activities
Lead, train, coach, and support production employees
Monitor production schedules, workflow, output, and staffing requirements
Ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently achieved
Identify and address production delays, downtime, and operational issues
Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards
Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and training
Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production issues
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Maintain accurate production documentation and reports
Ensure employees follow established procedures and work instructions
Promote a safe, organized, and productive manufacturing environment
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or production supervisory experience
Experience leading and managing production employees
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production schedules, quality, and safety
Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience with continuous improvement practices such as 5S, Lean, or Kaizen is preferred
Knowledge of GMP or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
Must be comfortable working rotating first and second shifts
Ability to work Monday–Friday and adjust between shifts as required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience.
