Medical Assistant (MA)LCH Health and Community Services (LCH) is a Federally Qualified Health Center and Patient-Centered Medical Home serving southern Chester County, PA. Our mission is to improve patient health and wellbeing through innovative, high-quality, whole-person care.We are proud to provide integrated, person-centered services in a bilingual and bicultural environment, helping to drive better outcomes for the communities we serve.About the RoleWe're looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to support our clinical team in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. This role combines hands-on clinical responsibilities with administrative support to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.What You'll DoPrepare patients for visits, including vital signs and health historyAssist providers with exams, procedures, and point-of-care testingPerform tasks such as injections, screenings, ECGs, and specimen handlingDocument patient information accurately in the EHRSupport follow-ups, referrals, and prior authorizationsProvide patient education and assist with care coordinationMaintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipmentParticipate in team huddles, meetings, and community outreachEnsure patient confidentiality and HIPAA complianceSchedule ExpectationsFull-time position with at least one evening per week until 8:00 pmWhat You BringBilingual English/Spanish requiredGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES)Current or eligible MA certification in PennsylvaniaCPR certification required2–3 years of clinical experience preferredExperience in community or public health (preferred)Key SkillsStrong clinical, organizational, and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and patient-focused approachDetail-oriented and able to manage multiple prioritiesTeam player who thrives in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join LCH?Mission-driven organization serving diverse communitiesSupportive, team-oriented environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient careApply today!
