Please note: this is a primarily in-office position. You must be able to reliably commute to and from our office in Lakewood, Colorado. After your first 90 days of employment, you will have the option to work remotely on some days, but you will still be expected to work primarily in the office. Compensation:
$41,600 - $62,400 yearly
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with attorneys to prepare and file legal documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information to support their cases.
* Manage case files and maintain organized records, ensuring all documentation is easily accessible and up-to-date.
* Coordinate with medical providers and other professionals to gather essential evidence and documentation.
* Assist in the preparation of trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and legal briefs.
* Conduct legal research to support case strategies and provide valuable insights to the legal team.
* Translate and interpret legal documents and communications for Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clarity and understanding for all parties involved.
Qualifications:
* Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written (required).
* 2+ years of experience at a plaintiff-side personal injury firm as a paralegal, case manager, or pre-litigation case manager.
* Hands-on experience with auto accident cases, including requesting and reviewing medical records and bills, tracking treatment, and communicating with providers.
* Familiarity with the pre-litigation process: liability investigation, insurance claims, PIP/MedPay, lien resolution, etc.
* Comfortable managing a caseload of 60-100+ active files and prioritizing under deadlines.
* Experience with a legal case management system (Neos, Filevine, Litify, or similar).
* Strong written communication — able to draft clear client correspondence and provider requests in both languages.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive about keeping clients informed.

BENEFITS
* Flexible schedule (after 3 months): choose a 5-day week with 2 non-consecutive remote days, or a 4/10 week with 1 remote day. First 3 months are M-F, 8-5 in the office
* Health, dental & vision: we cover 75% of your premium and 50% for spouse/dependents (begins at 3 months)
* PTO: 8 hours accrued per month, usable as earned
