Bilingual Sanitation AssociateSolo se permite hablar españolVolt is immediately hiring for a Sanitation Associate in VERNON, CaliforniaAs a Sanitation Associate – you will:Day to day responsibilities:Clean windows, glass doors, glass walls, handrails, refrigerators, and microwaves using approved cleaning solutions.Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces in assigned areas.Ensure soap, disinfectants, cleaning supplies, paper products, and other sanitation materials are stocked and readily available.Sweep and vacuum floors to remove dust, debris, and other contaminants.Mop floors in restrooms, break rooms, laundry areas, production areas, and office spaces using proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.Collect and remove trash, recyclables, and broken glass from designated areas and transport waste to outdoor disposal containers.Operate the cardboard compactor by placing cardboard boxes into the machine and moving compressed bales onto pallets.Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote a safe work environment.Rotate among sanitation assignments and responsibilities as needed.Follow all company safety, quality, food safety, and sanitation procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills & QualificationsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and work processes accurately.Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.Effective verbal communication skills with team members and supervisors.Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Demonstrated sound judgment, reliability, and problem-solving skills.Commitment to workplace safety and cleanliness standards.Preferred Skills & QualificationsRequires continuous movement throughout the facility during scheduled shifts.Regular exposure to hot, wet, and humid environments, with temperatures ranging from approximately 80°F to 90°F.Occasional exposure to cold environments, with temperatures ranging from approximately 30°F to 40°F.Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials and equipment.Repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements to perform cleaning and sanitation activities.Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.Ability to safely handle cleaning supplies, sanitation chemicals, and equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelinesThis is a full-time, Contract opportunity :: Shift: We have 1st, 2nd, 3rd OpportunitiesPay rate*: $ 16.90/hr - $ 17.90/hr.
