Employment Types: Full Time, Temp to Hire. Pay Rate: $20.00 / hourDuties:The shift lead position will support the team in daily tasks.The lead will spend most of the shift on the production floor assisting associates and working closely with the client operators and supervisors.Some tasks include conducting shift check-ins, working on the floor alongside your team, and enforcing GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), PPE/Safety rules, and policies.The Lead will be expected to follow all Staff Management | SMX and client policies at all times and communicate with all supervisors.Position Requirements:Reliable and able to work within industry-standard Good Manufacturing Practices at all times (artificial nails/eyelashes, nail polish, jewelry, etc., cannot be worn while producing and/or packaging food products).Inspect the product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination.Supply production lines as needed.Responsible for the correct placement of product on the line or in containers, boxes, or pallets.Maintains the work area in a clean and organized manner.Performs all other duties as assigned.Basic math skills.Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.This is a manufacturing environment, and there will be exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.This is a team environment; all employees must be able to work together and communicate respectfully and professionally.Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts.Ability to stand and work with your hands throughout the duration of the shift.Ability to lift at least 25lbs.Depending on the location, our environments can be very cold or very warm.Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
