We're looking for hardworking, dedicated salespeople who are bilingual (English/Spanish) to work our real time, internet generated in our GEICO Sugar Land, TX local office. Our office works year round to grow and retain clients who entrust their home, auto and other insurance to us. As a bilingual sales professional, you will be rewarded for helping GEICO Local agency owners engage all prospects in the market including the growing Hispanic community. General Lines P & C license not required to apply.What you would do in this role:Learn the basics of insurance and how to sell insuranceQuoting prices and financial optionsMake sales (licensed) of auto insurance and other personal lines of insurance products while providing extraordinary customer serviceEducate clients on auto, home and renter's insurance including comparisonsService existing accounts and ensure customers make buying decisions armed with the right amount of informationIdentify cross-selling opportunities during retention callsA successful candidate brings:General Lines P & C license requiredCompetitive spirit and willingness to learnUp to 75% of your day may be on the phone, a high-energy personality and a love of working with people is a mustA knack for remembering data and detailsA talent for dealing with difficult customersStrong computer skills to learn and work within multiple quoting systems (must be able to type at least 40 wpm)Punctual with the ability to stay and work a quote to its completionExperience as a Bilingual Representative is a plusBilingual (English/Spanish) requiredAbility to speak, read and write English and Spanish fluently (Preferred/not required)What we provide:Long-term opportunity to grow with an established companyMentorship from an experienced agent with an interest in your successProfessional office setting with supportive colleaguesEmployee positionTeam atmosphereHourly base pay structure for initial timeline; unlimited commissions thereafterBase pay + Commission/Bonuses/Incentives Salary range $35,000-$65,000 annuallyCompensation: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per yearWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
