About the Employer
Mission/ Vision: We believe highly qualified teachers and top performing support staff are the key to student achievement. In alignment with the VCUSD Strategic plan, the Human Resources Department allocates resources, provides daily guidance and support to all District employees. Through proactive and engaging recruitment and retention efforts, we continue to promote a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Requirements / Qualifications
Letter(s) of Recommendation (Letter of Recommendation)
NCLB Compliance (48 Units of College Credit or Passing of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Para Educator Examination or Equivalent)
Proof of HS Graduation (High School or Equivalent. HS Transcripts acceptable. College Transcripts can be submitted in lieu of High School Documents)

*If selected, salary placement must follow Article 3.2.1 of the current CSEA Contract, "a newly hired unit member may be placed at a step up to and including Step IV of his/her classification, if there is verifiable comparable experience that warrants such placement."
