Medical Biller/CoderWell-Being Pediatrics is looking to hire a Medical Biller/Coder. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, be able to work closely with upper management, be organized, and capable and willing to be a self-learner (keeping abreast of current and future changes in medical billing/coding rules). Competitive pay commensurate with level of experience and knowledge.Job Requirements:Coding and Charge Entry of ClaimsFollow-up of outstanding accounts receivable (A/R) of all payers and patientsResolution of DenialsAbility to research and resolve accounts appearing on delinquent Insurance ReportsKnowledge of 2023 AMA E&M Coding UpdatesKeeping up with recent coding/billing rule changesAssist front desk staff with any insurance questionsBe available to speak to patients regarding and billing/insurance questionsAt times may also be asked to assist with front desk responsibilities; answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking in and out patientsQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pediatric Medicine Billing and ICD-10Capability to bill for all insurances and must have a strong knowledge of BCBSM, Medicaid, Medicaid HMOs and Private HMOsExperience working within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) program, preferably experience with AthenaOneStrong understanding of insurance benefitsTeam Player
