Job description
Billing AnalystCentury Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Billing Analyst to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $45.00 per hour.Job Responsibilities:Process billing transactions, customer payments, and account updates while ensuring accurate financial records.Apply payments to customer accounts, reconcile billing activity, and investigate discrepancies as they arise.Review invoicing and payment information to verify accuracy and ensure proper account balances.Communicate with internal teams to resolve billing issues, payment variances, and account inquiries.Prepare reports, journal entries, and supporting documentation related to billing, collections, and cash receipts activities.Requirements:An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, payment processing, or a related accounting function.Strong understanding of account reconciliations, payment applications, and billing procedures.Proficiency with accounting software, databases, and Microsoft Excel.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.Qualifications:Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve account discrepancies.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial transactions and reporting.Strong organizational and time management abilities in a fast paced environment.Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and provide excellent customer service.Self motivated professional who can work independently while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality standards.
