Overview
Motive Companies is looking for a Billing & Collections Manager to lead billing, AR, and collections across our family of companies. This role ensures accuracy, drives efficiency, and helps the business maintain healthy cash flow. You’ll manage a team, streamline processes, resolve disputes, and provide insights to senior leadership through reporting and analytics.

Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do
Lead and develop the AR & Billing team
Oversee invoicing, cash application, and AR aging
Drive collection strategies and partner with Sales, Operations, and Service
Manage invoice disputes and work cross-functionally to resolve issues
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
Provide reporting and analysis on KPIs, trends, and cash forecasts
Maintain compliance and support audits
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
7+ years of progressive experience in billing/collections, ideally in distribution, construction, or manufacturing
Proven leadership experience managing AR or billing teams
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Effective communicator with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a high-growth, high-volume environment
Willingness to travel between offices in Anaheim, Tustin, Corona, and Fountain Valley
