Job description
Billing AssistantThe Billing Assistant is an integral part of Latham's Revenue Operations team. This role will be responsible for supporting Revenue Operations leadership in all aspects of the revenue process, while processing Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) write-offs as appropriate. This role will be located in our Chicago office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Other key responsibilities include:Applying Billed On Account balances as requestedProcessing time/costs transfers and narrative edits to timecards as requiredLiaising with Coordinator – Revenue Operations to ensure all invoices are generated and queries are responded to in a timely mannerManaging shared mailbox to ensure that all queries and requests are addressed in a punctual mannerAssisting with data input into financial systemsAssisting with accurate production of internal reportingResponding to internal and external queries as appropriateMonitoring invoice delivery to ensure all invoices are delivered to the client without delayProtecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsWe'd love to hear from you if you:Display the ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels within an organizationDemonstrate the ability to manage own workload and prioritize in order to meet deadlinesPossess strong technology skills including knowledge of Word, Excel, and OutlookAnd have:A high school diploma or equivalentA bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferablyPrior work experience in a professional services environment, preferablyExperience using financial systems, preferablySuccessful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
