Billing ClerkOngoing opportunities for billing clerks. As a billing clerk, you will be responsible for processing bills, preparing journal entries of adjustments to billings, communicating with customers regarding billing adjustments.Invoice Generation:Generate and prepare invoices for products or services rendered to customers. Ensure that invoices are accurate, complete, and comply with company policies and customer agreements.Data Entry and Accuracy:Enter billing information into the accounting or billing system accurately. Verify and cross-check details such as product or service descriptions, quantities, and pricing.Customer Communication:Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and overdue payments. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns related to billing.Payment Processing:Record and process customer payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers. Reconcile payments received with the corresponding invoices.Record Keeping and Documentation:Maintain organized and detailed records of customer transactions and billing activities. Ensure proper documentation of billing-related communications and resolutions.Statement Generation:Generate and distribute periodic statements to customers. Include relevant details such as outstanding balances, due dates, and payment instructions.
