Billing Process InternGoldberg Segalla is a national civil litigation law firm that represents major national and regional companies and insurance carriers in all aspects of business counseling, risk assessment and dispute resolution including representation in various types of claims, controversies and litigation involving personal and other injuries, property damage, contract disputes and business torts. Goldberg Segalla has an immediate opportunity for a Billing Process Intern in its Buffalo office.This role involves supporting various administrative and billing functions within the organization.Working on special projects based off workflow needHelping with overflow of the Billing Process TeamAdding Matters into ebilling sitesChecking Timekeepers in ebilling sitesSpecial assignments to cover staff when they are on leave or out of the officePerform other administrative tasks such as filing, sorting, scanning, etc.Additional duties as assignedMust be currently enrolled in an undergraduate programSophomore or Junior academic standing preferredExceptional attitude and customer service skillsExcellent attention to detailWorks well in a team environmentStrong organizational and multi-tasking skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeThe position has the opportunity for up to 20 hours during the semester and 30 hours during academic breaksRegularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in EnglishStrong organization and time management skillsAbility to use math/calculationsRegularly required to observe and assess data and documents, in printed form and on computer screensMay be requested to work beyond normal work hours and weekends for special projectsWorks well in a team environmentRepetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writingAbility to work independently within general guidelines and minimal supervisionAbility to recognize the need for confidentiality of information and to maintain such confidencesAbility to respond to internal or external inquiries, including those of a sensitive, confidential, or adversarial natureThe hourly compensation for this position is $16.00. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
