Billing Reimbursement SpecialistHourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: Billing Reimbursement SpecialistLocation: Arlington Heights, ILFull TimeHours: Monday-Friday, (hours and flexible work schedules)A Brief Overview: As a Billing Reimbursement Specialist you will be responsible for managing the hospital's billing processes and reimbursement procedures. This role involves working closely with insurance companies, patients, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for medical services rendered.What you will do:Prepare and submit insurance claims for all patient services in accordance with insurance guidelines and hospital policies.Verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information.Review and resolve billing errors and discrepancies.Monitor the status of claims and follow up on outstanding or denied claims.Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility prior to services.Accurately post payments received from insurance companies and patients. Process refunds when necessary.Reconcile payments with billed amounts and identify discrepancies.Analyze and resolve claim denials by identifying the root causes.
