Job description
Billing SupervisorUnder the general supervision of the Billing Manager. This position is responsible for the oversight of the daily operations, processes and projects relating to payment processing, collections of all third party and self-pay accounts receivable, keeping the days in AR within set guidelines, and other tasks that the Patient Account Representative (PAR) I through III are assigned. In addition to performing daily functions, the supervisor position will be responsible for providing front line support and assistance to billing staff while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures including answering questions, prioritizing tasks and assuring work completion.Education/Experience:1. High School Diploma or equivalent education required2. Minimum of four (4) years of experience in medical setting, including two (2) years in a supervisory role required3. Knowledge and experience working AR with third party insurance and FQHC billing and follow up required4. Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 required5. Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required6.
