About the Opportunity - Billing Specialist
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join a growing team in the Nolensville area. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, payment tracking, and billing support while maintaining excellent customer service and internal communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities - Billing Specialist
Generate, review, and process customer invoices accurately and timely
Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies with customers and internal stakeholders
Maintain billing records and documentation in accordance with company procedures
Research and reconcile account balances, credits, and payment issues
Assist with accounts receivable functions, including payment posting and collections support
Respond to customer billing inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Prepare billing reports and assist with month-end accounting activities
Collaborate with accounting, operations, and customer service teams to ensure billing accuracy
Qualifications - Billing Specialist 2+ years of billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
Experience with high-volume billing environments preferred
Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills required
