Job description
Position: Infusion Drug Billing Specialist (Totowa, NJ)
Pay:
$27–$28 per hour, with some flexibility.
Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM; exempt position with no overtime pay.
Hiring Timeline: ASAP, following a two-interview process.
Benefits:
14 days of PTO, 2 floating holidays, and 9 company-paid holidays.
Team: Join an established billing team of approximately 15 people.
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience, preferably including at least 1 year in pharmacy, specialty drug, or infusion billing.
Core Responsibilities: Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims for infusion medications and related services; correct rejected claims and resolve billing errors.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements, along with HCPCS, CPT, ICD-10, and NDC coding. xhqgsiq
Compliance and Collaboration: Review authorizations and documentation, coordinate with pharmacy and clinical teams, maintain accurate records, meet billing deadlines, and comply with HIPAA and payer regulations.
