Full-time positions available. Previous experience in Navy MOS: LI:Lithographer, Marine MOS: 4615:Combat Lithographer, or Army MOS: 83F:Printing and Bindery Specialist is preferred. First shift schedule.

Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of auxiliary binding machines
Inspecting equipment for safety issues
Operating automatic adhesive binding machines (perfect binders) that contain numerous interrelated process stations
Making needed adjustments to coordinate the multiple work stations on a single machine
Directing crew through all aspects of production
Monitoring quality, output, and productivity
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
Thorough knowledge of the set up, adjustment, procedures, capabilities, and limitations of equipment to perform the full range of standard and specialized binding, folding, collating, and cutting of printed materials to complete a finished product
Comprehensive knowledge of machinability of different paper weights, sizes, kinds, and colors so as to be able to identify paper conditions
Ability to use the full range of standard and specialized tools and devices to adjust and maintain the functional accuracy and operating conditions of the bindery machines
Skill in making difficult adjustments to powered machines using hand tools as well as more specialized hand tools
Skill in operating complicated bindery equipment such as folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, binding/gluing machines
Ability to read and interpret written work which indicates the number and sequence of machine operations required to complete the work and maintain dimensional accuracy in accordance with instructions provided
Other duties as assigned
Train, communicate with other employees

First shift 6AM - 6PM rotating (front and back half)
The pay range for this role at the noted location is $26.25 to $28.65 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include (a sign-on bonus of $X,XXX), overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
