Bindery OperatorWe have an immediate opening for a Bindery Operator position at our facility in Waterloo, IA.Job Responsibilities Include:Determines printing job requirements by reviewing job specifications and assessing requirements for operation completionSets up and uses various bindery machines for tasks involving sets of printed material, pamphlets, and other finishing operations of business forms and general printingChecks for quality, counts and other operation requirementsInput information on computer for job/operation completionSupports shipping operation by wrapping/packing boxes, labeling, and preparing for carrier pickup using shipping softwareOther tasks as assignedQualifications:Experience working in a print production facility or shop preferredExperience operating bindery equipment strongly preferredMathematical aptitude/skills are required and mechanical skills are helpfulMust be quality conscious with good organizational skillsAble to efficiently follow workflow process to minimize downtime and repeated stepsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsThis full-time position would primarily be scheduled to work Monday-Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.
