Job description
EMC-TechnicianWe are seeking a dedicated EMC-Technician to join our team, operating on the 1st shift (6am-3pm) from Monday to Friday with minimal overtime. This role involves ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and production procedures in a collaborative and safety-conscious environment.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all GMP, HACCP, and production procedures are followed and documented for assigned work.Perform manual production tasks such as material handling and staging, batching, packaging, cleaning, and sanitizing.Utilize a computer inventory control system.Efficiently perform assigned tasks and duties as assigned.Follow safety guidelines.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a safe working environment.Essential Skills6 months to 5 years of experience in food production, mixing, or blending.Experience with HACCP and GMP.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to manage frequent changes and respond professionally under pressure.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsIntermediate knowledge of food safety requirements including HACCP.Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and the Safe Quality Food program.Experience in liquid or dairy blending is a plus.Detail-oriented, responsible, and self-motivated.Ability to operate a forklift and scissor lift.Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a Food Flavor and Probiotic ingredient facility. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. This is a direct placement position.
