Job description
Blow Mold OperatorThe Blow Mold Operator (2nd shift, M-F, 2:00pm – 10:30pm) is within our Auto/Car Care/Prestone division and is responsible for operating and maintaining blow molding machines to produce high-quality products. This role is located at our Alsip, Illinois facility.The expected compensation for this position is an hourly rate of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications and is bonus eligible.Your role at PrestoneOperate and maintain blow molding machinesPerform mechanical troubleshooting to ensure machines are running efficientlyMonitor production processes and make adjustments as neededPerform operator functions such as adjust machine settings and set up moldsComplete required paperwork for accurate productionInspect finished products for quality controlMaintain a clean and safe work environmentQualificationsHigh School Degree or equivalent.Two (2) or more years of experience in in a manufacturing facility operating blow molding machines or equivalent.Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions:The production facility is within an indoor industrial environment and is not climate controlled. Must be able to go up and down stairs frequently and have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
