Location: Mountain View, CA (Onsite, Hybrid or Remote Available)
Salary: $120,000-$600,000 + Equity (DOE)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
My client, an innovative AI hardware company, is looking for a Bluespec Design Engineer to help develop next-generation silicon for high-performance Generative AI. This is a unique opportunity for engineers with strong Haskell experience to transition into hardware design using Bluespec, with full support and training provided.
Key Responsibilities
Develop production-quality silicon for compute, memory, and high-speed connectivity
Design reusable Bluespec libraries for scalable hardware development
Contribute to hardware architecture and design optimisation
Build tooling to improve hardware/software development workflows
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-performance solutions
Requirements
Strong proficiency in Bluespec/similar and functional programming concepts
Excellent software engineering fundamentals and coding practices
Experience with version control, build systems, and CI workflows
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Production experience with Rust
Understanding of digital hardware concepts and computer architecture
