Job description
Biomedical Engineering Faculty Position
Develop and deliver lectures, prepare and grade assignments, design laboratory experiments, and examination of student learning. Learn and use an online course management system - Canvas. Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class (ie office hours). Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester.
Prerequisite Qualifications: M.S. degree in electrical or biomedical engineering or related field required. Matlab, Signal processing and Arduino programming experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred with previous college teaching experience. Industrial experience is an added advantage.
Salary Information: In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the rate for this position is $2668 per contact hour (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items. FLSA: Exempt Part-Time
