ABOUTTHEROLE
VanguardisexpandingitscommercialandinstitutionalfootprintacrossDFWandweneedaSuperintendentwhocanleadfieldoperationsatscale.You’lloverseeBMScontrolsandlowvoltageelectricalinstallationsacrosshospitals,K–12schools,universities,andpublicinfrastructure—managingcrews,drivingschedules,coordinatingtrades,andholdingthequalitystandard.Thisisahigh-accountabilityrolewithadirectpathtoProjectManagerfortherightperson.
RESPONSIBILITIES
OverseedailyelectricalconstructionactivitiesacrossmultiplejobsiteswithintheDallas-FortWorth(DFW),TXarea
Travelregularlybetweenjobsitestomonitorprogress,safety,andquality
SuperviseanddirectBMScontrolsandlowvoltageelectricalfieldcrewsacrossassignedprojectareas
Drivedailyproductiongoalsinalignmentwithprojectschedulesandmilestones
EnsureallBMSandlowvoltageinstallationscomplywithdrawings,specifications,andcode
CoordinatewithProjectManagers,othertradeSuperintendents,GC/CM,andownerrepresentatives
Managemanpowerallocation,crewscheduling,andsubcontractoroversight
Coordinatematerial,tool,andequipmentavailabilitytosupportuninterruptedfieldoperations
EnforceVanguard’ssafetystandards,OSHArequirements,andsite-specificsafetyprotocols
EnforceQA/QCstandardsandholdcrewsaccountabletoworkmanshipexpectations—identifydeficienciesanddrivecorrectiveaction
Providedailyfieldreportscoveringproduction,manpower,issues,andscheduleimpacts
Lead,mentor,andmanageForemen,Installers,andApprenticestomeetprojectschedulesandproductiongoals
Participateinprojectplanningmeetings,coordinationsessions,andschedulereviews
Conductroutinejobsitewalkstoverifyinstallationqualityandsafetycompliance
Reviewdrawings,specifications,andworkplanstoensureproperinstallation
Identifyandproactivelyresolvefieldissuesimpactingschedule,productivity,orquality
Maintainprofessionalcommunicationwithclients,inspectors,andtradepartners

QUALIFICATIONS
5+yearsofBMScontrols,lowvoltage,and/orelectricalconstructionexperiencewithsupervisoryresponsibility(required)
PriorsupervisoryorleadexperienceinBMScontrolsorlowvoltage(required)
StrongknowledgeofBMSsystems,controlssequences,andlowvoltageinfrastructure
Abilitytoreadandinterpretconstructiondrawings,specifications,andschedules
WorkingknowledgeofOSHAregulations,sitesafetypractices,andLOTOprocedures
Experiencecoordinatingwithmultipletradesoncommercialconstructionprojects
Provenexperiencemanagingmultiplejobsitessimultaneously
Demonstratedleadership,decision-making,andcrewmanagementskills
Strongcommunication,organization,andproblem-solvingabilities
Validdriver’slicenseandabilitytotravelthroughouttheDFWMetroplex

OSHA30certification
