Position Overview: As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Comprehensive Disability Services, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and overseeing behavior intervention programs for individuals with disabilities. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, caregivers, and other professionals, to develop comprehensive treatment plans aimed at improving behavior, communication, and adaptive skills. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, analyzing data, and providing ongoing support and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members. Additionally, you will serve as a resource for families and caregivers, offering guidance, training, and support to promote effective strategies for managing challenging behaviors and promoting positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Design and implement data collection systems to monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.

Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to behavior technicians and other team members.

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and continuity of care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and interventions.

Stay current with research and best practices in the field of ABA and apply evidence-based strategies to guide intervention.

Qualifications:

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a BCBA in a clinical or community-based setting.

Strong clinical skills in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members.

Experience providing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other staff members.

Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting the well-being of clients and their families.
