Job description

The Lighthouse ABA's School Services department is looking for a BCBA to join our team conducting assessments for students receiving DOE-funded, in-school ABA services. This is a highly visible, clinically rich role for a BCBA who wants to make a direct, measurable impact on students' access to services.

* Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and skills assessments for students in school settings

* Travel to NYC schools and clients' homes for in-person observation and assessment sessions

* Serve as an expert witness, testifying at Impartial Hearings as needed

* Collaborate closely with parents, the School Services team, RBTs, and case managers to translate assessment findings into actionable recommendations

What We're Looking For

* Current BCBA certification (required)

* Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in New York State (required)

* Comfort and willingness to testify at Impartial Hearings

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write reports and testify clearly under scrutiny

* A strong, experienced clinical team providing support and mentorship

* The chance to directly influence student outcomes through DOE-funded services
