Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Yelm, WA .
This is a great opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys working directly with students, collaborating with educators and families, and helping children build the behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.
What You'll Do
As a BCBA, you will work collaboratively with special education staff and other members of the educational team to assess student needs, develop individualized behavioral supports, and promote positive student outcomes. Responsibilities may include:
Conducting functional behavior assessments and analyzing student behavioral data
Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
Providing direct behavioral support and consultation to students and school staff
Supervising and supporting RBTs, paraprofessionals, and other behavioral support staff
Collecting, analyzing, and documenting behavioral and skill‑acquisition data
Developing strategies to increase positive behaviors, communication, independence, and engagement
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals
Providing staff training, coaching, and consultation on evidence‑based behavioral strategies
Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies
Qualifications
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
School-based and/or special education experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior assessment, and intervention strategies
Experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans
Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
Ability to meet all applicable school, certification, and employment requirements
