About this opportunity
Lark Behavior Group lists this Board Certified Behavior Analyst opportunity in los angeles, California. Review the employer’s description below for duties, qualifications and application requirements.
Job description
If you're a BCBA splitting your week between client homes and telehealth, you already know where your day actually goes. Two homes a day with 30 to 40 minutes in between, plus the trip back, is easily 90 minutes of unbillable windshield time. Across a year that's close to 240 hours - six full working weeks on the 118 and the 405, contributing nothing to your caseload, your billables, or your family.
At Lark, that number is zero. Every client comes to us.
What that changes about your day
One building, all day. Your supervision hours run back to back instead of around a commute.
Your BTs are down the hall. Feedback is immediate, not scheduled for next Tuesday.
8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends, no 7 PM sessions because that was the only slot that worked geographically.
Materials, prep space, and a team that's physically present. You're not running a practice out of your trunk.
We're a center-based clinic in Porter Ranch, partnered with Inspire Learning Center, with a team of about 25. Small enough that you'll know every client and every technician by name, structured enough that authorizations, scheduling, and billing are handled by people whose actual job that is.
What you'll do
Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans grounded in ABA principles
Supervise and train behavior technicians, in person and in the moment
Analyze data and adjust programming based on what it's actually telling you
Partner with families, caregivers, and our multidisciplinary team so intervention carries over at home
Lead intakes and maintain clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA
What you'll bring
Active BCBA certification through the BACB
Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field
Experience with children on the autism spectrum and with developmental disabilities
Comfort with assessment, treatment planning, and data-based decision making
Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive feedback well
Successful background check and current TB clearance
401(k)
Health and dental insurance
Continuing education credits and professional development support
A schedule that ends when the workday ends
If you've spent the last few years managing a caseload from your driver's seat, we'd like to talk.
