Body Shop Estimator
The Motor Company is a locally owned Ford dealership in Marinette, Wisconsin, and we're looking for an organized, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Body Shop Estimator.
This is an outstanding opportunity to take on a key leadership role in our collision center. Our current estimator has been promoted within the company and will provide hands-on training to ensure a successful transition for the right candidate.
What You'll Do
As our Body Shop Estimator, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the body shop, including:
Writing accurate repair estimates using industry estimating software
Working directly with insurance companies throughout the estimate and repair process
Managing insurance approvals and payment processing
Scheduling repairs and coordinating shop workflow
Communicating with customers to provide updates and ensure an exceptional experience
Ordering and tracking parts as needed
Coordinating with technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently
Maintaining quality standards and ensuring repairs are completed on time
Assisting with administrative duties and documentation
Helping identify opportunities to improve shop efficiency and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For
Previous automotive experience and especially collision repair or body shop experience is strongly preferred, however we will train the right candidate
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working with computers and learning dealership management and estimating software
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Valid driver's license
