Job description
Body Shop Porter
Join the team at Bob Maxey Ford as a Body Shop Porter, where you will play a key role in supporting our body shop operations by ensuring vehicles are transported, organized, and maintained in a timely and professional manner. This position is based in Detroit, MI, and offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong team focus.
Responsibilities
Transport vehicles between the body shop, customer parking, and other designated locations safely and efficiently.
Assist in keeping the body shop and surrounding areas clean and organized.
Help with moving parts, equipment, and supplies as needed within the shop.
Ensure vehicles are properly staged and ready for service or customer pickup.
Report any vehicle or equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow all safety and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to drive and maneuver vehicles of various sizes safely.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items as required.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
