These systems are vital to the safety, comfort, and general wellbeing of patients, students and employees. This position is also responsible for assisting with all problems and/or emergencies relating to facility issues on the UAMS Campus.Minimum QualificationsHS diploma/GEDAbility to obtain Arkansas High Pressure Boiler License within 9 months of hire1 year of relevant experience in HVAC Systems Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering Maintenance, Power Plant Operation, Plumbing and Piping Systems, Stationary Engineer Role, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance, or boiler operationValid Arkansas driver's license with fewer than 12 points on their Motor Vehicle RecordComputer program proficiency level: IntermediateKnowledge of central plant systemsWatchkeeping and rounding documentationPreferred QualificationsBoiler Operator Certification6-10 years of boiler operations experience, experience operating a District Energy PlantArkansas High Pressure Boiler LicenseSiemen's Desigo, chiller operationsSalary Information: Commensurate with education and experienceRequired Documents to Apply: ResumeOptional Documents: Proof of Veteran StatusSpecial Instructions to Applicants:Recruitment Contact Information: Please contact for any recruiting related questions.All application materials must be uploaded to the University of Arkansas System Career Site do not send to listed recruitment contact.Pre-employment Screening Requirements:Annual TB Screening, Criminal Background CheckThis position is subject to pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification).
